The celebration of 30th anniversary of Savico was successfully held at the Municipal Theatre of HCMC in the afternoon on August 29th 2012.

"Savico 30 years" indicated not only the sustainable development but also a strong brand affirmation through a nationwide system of Savico. Generations of cadres, Party members and employees of Savico have strived to overcome obstacles and challenges, to take the initiative and be creative, and have excellently accomplished all the assigned tasks. The celebration of 30th anniversary of Savico was also an occasion on which the corporation received the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister to honor 4 communities and 2 individuals. Moreover, Savico was particularly awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister and the Emulation Flag from HCMC People's Committee, which were precious encouragement and acknowledgement of the all the officers and staff of Savico throughout the years. Furthermore, Savico's executive board also expressed gratitude and presented a memento to the prior leaders and the staff that had contributed to the development of Savico. Such a characteristic of the corporate culture made a good impression on the audience.

"Savico 30 years" recounted the general view of history of the formation and development and the strenuous efforts as well as achievements of Savico. All Savico's people have the right to be proud because at the beginning, the corporation was just a small company in the early service field, with the initial capital of less than 70 million VND, and now Savico has had the equity of 750 billion VND, the total assets of about 3000 billion VND, and 2000 employees… Despite feeling so proud, no one that once worked for Savico could ever forget they all had gone through a period full of such ups and downs, of happiness and sadness in order to gain success

All of those who attended "Savico 30 years" experienced different emotions, which was surprise at first because at the beginning Savico was just District 1 Service Company whose scale was small, then it turned out to be admiration and appreciation of each effort that leaders and companions of Savico made to overcome different times, after that it was pride because now Savico has become a strong trademark and still strived to achieve more… The journeys of Savico was completely summarized and illustrated with lively pieces of music and and dancing performances. Surprisingly, it was the staff who was thought to only focus on work all the time that suddenly became skilful "artists". Moreover, the song "Happy birthday" to Savico brought everyone come close together to enhanced solidarity, and Savico's culture seemed to permeate to everyone.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Vinh Tho, Chairman of the Board cum General Director of SAVICO once again claimed that: "The road to development of Savico in the future must be to continue to successfully build the model Investment Company specialized in services because the market potential is still enormous, and there are advantages of human resources, the peculiar culture of Savico as well as the young, talented entrepreneurs that have great steeled skill and spirit, and the enthusiasm and thirsty for contribution to the development of Savico."
