To commemorate 11 years of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day on October 13th, in the morning (October 10th), People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City Association held ceremony to honour 100 typical Enterprises of Ho Chi Minh City in 2015 at White Palace Convention Center.
In this occasion, Saigon General Service Corporation – SAVICO with 2 member organizations are Toyota East Saigon Corporation, Saigon Automobile Service Joint Stock Company (Saigon Ford) also got this prestigious prize.
This is the noble title of Ho Chi Minh City made a decision to recognize by People’s Committee in order to recorded in time, honour and encourage efforts of Entrepreneurs, Enterprises in the current difficult economic situation. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hong, Vice-Chairperson of People’s Committee of city addressed in ceremony: “Enterprises keep engineering and reengineering, promote abilities, knowledge and creativity, attach special importance to create prestige, brands, consider that it is a steady stage of developing path of enterprises, entrepreneurs”..
In 2015, 100 honoured enterprises were voted from 256 documents handed in from July 2015. Especially, in this year, lots of foreign-owned enterprises were also honoured. These enterprises had revenues and profits completing exceeding inventory of plan, strictly implement policies for labours, had new solutions to effectively serve in producing and doing business, actively participated the campaign of Vietnamese give priority to use Vietnamese goods, had many contributions for socio-economy development of City.

According to incomplete statistic, in 2014 and 6 months of the beginning of this year, 100 enterprises honoured making the total revenues of over 650,000 billion dongs, contributed to budget the amount of over 21,000 billion dongs, total amount of 155,000 labours, contributed to social charity the amount of over 400 billion dongs.
